Copland Scene Recreation + Analysis

In general, I felt that the filming of this scene recreation went a lot better than I anticipated. We were able to film at a nice fitting location with professional equipment including lighting (which isn't something I've used a lot) and a very good camera set-up. In addition, we got to play around with the Lapel mics and a better sound set-up in general. The filming itself went quite well, with only a few mistakes that didn't provide too much of a barrier for the filming process. The only thing I believe could have gone better would be the acting, although that's not something we could really help due to most of us having little proper film acting experience.

I've exported two different versions of the final product - one with music and one without, as I feel both have their merits. The one with music feels more complete and attempts to build more tension, whilst the one without music feels more like a professional film and builds more anxiety with the quiet cafe ambience and the conversation between Moe and Ray's crew. I felt the editing process went fairly well, although I wish we could have done something a little more complex than we ended up with - just lots of shot reverse shot action.
